Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development and optimization of internal tools for our financial operations teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, extensive experience with financial platforms, and a proven track record of delivering high-impact internal solutions for finance departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for internal tools used by financial operations teams. Align this vision with the overall business goals and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
User Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough user research to understand the needs and pain points of the financial operations teams. Translate these insights into actionable product requirements.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with finance, accounting, compliance, and other relevant teams to gather feedback, ensure alignment, and drive adoption of internal tools. Communicate progress and updates to stakeholders regularly.
Financial Platform Integration: Leverage expertise in financial platforms to integrate and optimize these tools within the internal tool ecosystem. Ensure seamless data flow and usability for financial operations teams.
Performance Metrics: Define, track, and analyze key performance metrics to measure the success of internal tools. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Training and Support: Develop training materials and programs to ensure effective use of internal tools by the financial operations teams. Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot issues as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, with a focus on internal tools and systems. Experience in financial operations or financial platforms is highly preferred.
Financial Platform Expertise: Proven experience working with financial platforms. Strong understanding of financial workflows and best practices.
Technical Skills: Ability to work closely with engineering teams and understand technical constraints and opportunities. Experience with data integration and API usage is a plus.
Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and product improvements.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a B2B or financial technology company.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Strong customer empathy and a passion for improving user experience.
