Abbott Established Pharmaceuticals Division is looking for a
Compliance Analyst
for its global Pharma Division Headquarter based in Allschwil- Basel.
Primary Job Function:
The Compliance Analyst will provide support for developing, updating and maintaining basic and routine elements of Abbott’s compliance program at Abbott Products Operations AG (e.g. schedule and conduct basic trainings, project management and OEC communication support) and EPD’s global compliance program and prepare based on the guidance from their manager the data and data sets necessary to maintain and optimize the compliance program. They will partner with divisional business functions to provide and partner on training and education, compliance risk assessment and best practice recommendations.
Core Job Responsibilities:
Providing support for developing, updating and maintaining basic and routine elements of Abbott’s compliance program at APO and globally.
Compile, prepare and verify the data and data sets required to maintain and optimize the compliance program, and the perform the analytics on such data and data sets as per the guidance of their manager or the EPD ECO.
Assist the development, delivery and update efforts relating to OEC’s comprehensive training and communication program for Abbott Product Operations (APO) and other EPD affiliates, as required.
Assist in the developing, implementing, modifying, and overseeing the monitoring plan for APO to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Under the guidance and supervision of their manager:
Supports and communicates with divisional stakeholders to provide basic and routine OEC and divisional policy interpretation and requirements, and assists with compliance risk assessment, trend analysis and best practice recommendations.
Assists in conducting basic and routine policy and procedure reviews and updates related to OEC policy and divisional procedures ensuring clarity, applicability and compliance.
Delivers and assists with updating OEC training programs on basic and routine OEC and divisional policies and procedures.
Assists the Compliance Director/ECO on compliance audits: assists in the fulfillment of auditors requests by gathering information and documentation, acts as liaison between business and auditors during on site activities and coordination of audit response reports, assisting the business in preparing corrective action to address basic and routine findings and recommendations.
Minimum Education:
Trade/Vocational degree on commercial education (called KV in Switzerland) or IT and/or BA/BS.
Minimum Experience/Training Required:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant compliance and/or data analytics experience preferably with exposure to business functions such as compliance, legal, regulatory affairs, government affairs, and finance, ideally in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry
Strong analytical mindset
Demonstrated data literacy: ability to read, understand, create, and communicate data as information
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of multiple teams
Fluent in English, German would be an asset
