POSITION OVERVIEW:

Assign and engage with Vision Care stakeholder to complete assignments during Intern tenure. Intern's goal is to gain working experiences and better prepare for future success in the organization

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understanding of category landscape & products knowledge

• Do market survey (mystery shopping) for Optical & Pharmacy channels for contact lens, contact lens solution & dry eye ocular health products which include:

I. Alcon & competitors’ Product availability & visibility
II. Alcon & competitors’ Product planogramming
III. Alcon & competitors’ Product knowledge by Pharmacists & Eye Care Professionals
IV. Alcon & competitors’ pricing analysis
V. Alcon & competitors’ promo analysis (Evergreen vs occasional)
VI. Alcon & competitors’ sales rep SOV & influence
VII. Understanding of customer & consumer journey

• Generate insight-driven actions from market survey – recommendation on start, stop, continue

• Support marketing events activation

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Willing to take up Internship duration of 5-6 months

• Optometrist or Pharmacist Faculty will be highly preferable

• Good in Analytical Skill and with Microsoft Office (especially for Excel, words and Power Point)

• Outspoken and cheerful personality

• Willing to travel and possess own transportation
