What you will do:

Diagnose problems, repairs, adjusts and maintains production equipment and machinery to ensure reliability and efficient day-to-day operations. Tests and inspects parts regularly and identifies issues. Takes preventive measures to avoid unexpected downtime.  

How you will do it:

  • Sets up, troubleshoot, and maintain test systems, test system procedures and databases according to general instructions and agency test requirements. 
  • Analyzes test data and modifies parameters, sequence and steps in test procedures for units tested to meet quality standards. 
  • Provides technical support on automated equipment such as CNC and robot systems. 
  • Instructs production personnel in the proper and safe operation of test systems. 
  • Assists line personnel with unit troubleshooting. 
  • Sets up and maintains computer hardware for test and automated systems. 
  • Follows established safety procedures and maintains a clean work area. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree and one year experience, or Associate degree and six years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • A minimum of two years technical training in electronics (degree or diploma) or equivalent experience and training. 
  • Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including e-mail, Microsoft Office software, and SQL. 
  • Knowledge in computer databases and networking a plus. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and decision making ability. 
  • Effective and professional communication and organization skills. 
  • Demonstrated working knowledge and skills in such areas as wiring, instrumentation, electromechanical and PLC troubleshooting. 
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work on multiple tasks. 

Preferred  

  • HVAC experience
