Your Job:
At Brooks we believe that running is a limitless source of positive energy that can change a day, a life and even the world. Our Community Impact Programs leverage Brooks’ performance running gear, financial resources, and our energetic and dedicated people to champion the run for all. The Community Impact channel sits within the Brand PR & Communications team and makes critical contributions to Brooks’ purpose to inspire people to run their path, our conviction that everyone who wants to run feels welcome to run, and everyone who runs has a place to do it.
The Community Impact Specialist is responsible for supporting strategy and executing initiatives and partnerships in our priority areas of youth running and community partners. Rooted in the knowledge that youth sports foster a sense of belonging and generate lifelong social and health benefits, we support youth running teams, training clubs and mentors through our Future Run Platform. We invest in organizations, running and community groups who are advancing diversity and inclusion in running, working together to build community and affect positive social change.
The ideal candidate will approach their role with a listening mindset, empathy, and dedication to fostering mutually beneficial partnerships. This person will center diversity, equity and inclusion in their work and ensure that Brooks’ community investments and partnerships amplify, benefit and are informed by the voices of the individuals, communities and organizations Brooks seeks to serve.
Compensation: The pay range for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $28.01 - $39.24 per hour. Base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
