CLIENT FIELD CTO

Reporting to the Director of the Client Partner Group, you will be responsible for managing the relationship between Ensono and a defined portfolio of accounts, ensuring that we delight our clients, support their business objectives whilst continuing to create profitable revenue for our company.

Overview:
The Field Client Technology Officer (Field CTO) is a senior leader responsible for helping Ensono’s clients bridge the gap between technology and business strategy while engaging directly with Ensono’s critical C-Level clients. The Field CTO will identify, propose, and develop solutions that align with clients' business goals, drive revenue growth and retention, spur service innovation, and ensure the successful delivery of managed services.

The Field CTO is primarily responsible for creating value and business outcomes for our clients, by helping them effectively leverage new digital technology. The Field CTO has overall responsibility for the technology program with our largest and most complex clients and for assisting the Client Engagement Manager (Sales) with growing Ensono services and assisting operational teams in delivering the contracted services. When possible, the Field CTO does this by incorporating Ensono's broad range of IT infrastructure and application services, and those of Ensono’s industry ecosystem partners, into solutions that meet clients’ business needs. As our clients look towards a digital future, the main objective and responsibility of the client Field CTO will be to help our customers on that journey.
Working as a trusted advisor and champion to clients, the Field CTO expands our scope of contracted services, providing insight and guidance on future innovations and technical roadmaps.
The Field CTO is also responsible for channeling client experiences of Ensono services to Ensono’s Product Organization, thereby positively transforming our processes, people, technology, and culture. The Field CTO is focused on the quality of client experience at all levels, and acts as a true client advocate, ensuring the client’s voice is heard in all functions and activities.
We are seeking a Field CTO that combines broad industry experience or deep client experience within one of the following Client/Go to Market verticals, with a thorough understanding of the latest technology trends. A person who has proven and demonstrable experience of consultative selling by fostering executive relationships, demonstrating thought leadership, and communications with CIO, COO, CFO, and Vice Presidents:
The following further define the desired characteristics of the Field CTO role:
Client Engagement:
– Establishes working relationships with client executives and thereby understands client business priorities and IT needs
– Participates in client IT planning activities, collaborates with client leaders at all levels, and provides insights regarding opportunities regardless of whether they relate directly to Ensono opportunities
Technology Strategy:
– Incorporates Ensono services into recommendations that have genuine value for clients and work with individual teams and Global Delivery and Capability leads to defining and deliver the contracted services and projects. Ensono services have a broad range of technologies to be leveraged by our clients, such as:
o Mainframe and IBM i Technology and Services
o Private Cloud and Distributed Technology and Services
o AWS, Azure, and Google Public Cloud Technology and Services
o Growing list of AI and Predictive Analytics Technology and Services
o Digital Services including Application Development
o Participates with client engagement partners (Sales) and solution architects in account planning and forecasting
Solution Development:
– Participates in the development of both standard and custom technology solutions to meet specific client requirements including pricing and commercial modeling.
– Provides deep technical expertise during client presentations and discussions.
Collaboration:
– Works with Ensono product management to improve the performance of Ensono services and to generate and demonstrate greater value and consistently contribute to improving client satisfaction. Stays focused on application scenarios and use cases while planning innovations and considering future technologies.
– Participates with solution architects in solution design by providing detailed alignment to client outcomes
– Supports solution delivery managers (SDMs) through client executive relationship influence
Technical Evangelism:
– Actively promote the company's technology solutions to clients and the broader industry.
– Participates in industry events, webinars, and conferences to showcase expertise and thought leadership.
– Establishes industry ecosystem partnerships to enhance Ensono’s service portfolio in partnership with Product and broaden range of client outcomes delivered
– Participates in Ensono strategic business planning, service excellence and improvement and applied innovation programs, to incorporate client experience into Ensono improvement and strategic initiatives.
Operational Oversight:
– Oversees the implementation of technological solutions to ensure they meet client expectations.
– Monitors the performance and effectiveness of deployed solutions and make necessary adjustments.

The Field CTO combines these areas of expertise to address the client’s key IT and business challenges, focus areas and business objectives, and can specify business value from the client’s perspective. This role requires an intimate understanding of client behaviors, drivers and values through data analytics, qualitative means, living the client’s life, plus virtual and in person social interactions.
