What you’ll do:

  • You'll develop, cultivate, and manage client relationships
  • You’ll maintain lines of communication and delivery with government contracts and contracts technical representative staff
  • You’ll team build and promote the empowerment of the team, ensure that each team members is fully engaged in the program and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high-levels of quality for the team
  • You'll prioritize, lead, and manage tasking of the program team and completion of assignments
  • You’ll evaluate, prioritize, and manage impacts of program scope changes
  • You’ll escalate program risks to the appropriate MetroStar and client stakeholders
  • You’ll report to senior leadership from both internal and Department of State executives.
  • You’ll report to the Program Manager who will provide support, guidance, information and resources to help you be successful.
  • You’ll contribute and assist with internal reports and duties for the Program Manager to help manage success for the Program.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • You have an active Secret security clearance
  • You have 10+ years of project management experience
  • You have 5+ years of Agile SDLC Project Management experience, leading the development of complex application in a cloud environment
  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; graduate level studies and/or additional training in technical subjects is highly desirable
  • You have experience with data center operations, IT Infrastructure management, systems engineering, or IT program management
  • You have a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • You have CompTIA, CISSP, Microsoft or ITIL Certifications
  • You have strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.
  • You have strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
  • You have strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence.
