The Automation Specialist will provide homogenized business operations across several engineering and project management sites across the LATAM region.

 

 

Essential Functions

  • Provides and/or leads production of Monthly Business Operational reports including:
    • Power BI reporting and guidance to Power BI developers
    • SFDC/Tableau reporting and guidance to Tableau developers
    • Detailed, summarized internal client reporting for monthly, quarterly, and yearly business reviews.
  • Leads internal operational programs as a program manager including Innovation Challenges, Operational Excellence programs, Tech Challenges, etc.
  • Leads the ISO (re)certification process at all sites within the region.
  • Manages the effective communication and documentation of all process changes within the sites from a business workflow perspective.
  • Guides all time tracking efforts at all sites in order to provide accurate reporting and turnover to the finance group for monthly billing.
  • Manages all business automation, RPA, and other effective means of decreasing unnecessary manual activities in the region.
  • Summarizes and controls headcount forecasting.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned applicable to scope of knowledge and experience.

 

What we look for:

 

Required

  • Bachelor of engineering degree (BSc. Eng., B.Eng.)
  • 10 (ten) years of relevant experience within an engineering and/or operational management role.
  • Proven, demonstrable experience with process automatization for a large business unit including Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Power Apps, SQL database usage, Python, etc.
  • Solid understanding of shared service center / professional service center financial management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Self-starting, ability to manage multiple tasks on strict deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous technical learning and personal development, both self-directed and under the guidance of others.
  • General business English C1 or greater.

 

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or Engineering Management
  • Experience within a Technical shared service center or professional services company.
