Summary: As an Operations Engineer, you will support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement. You will ensure the smooth functioning of backup and recovery systems. Your typical day will involve monitoring and troubleshooting system issues, implementing backup and recovery strategies, and collaborating with the team to provide efficient solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Monitor and maintain backup and recovery systems to ensure data integrity and availability. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to backup and recovery systems. - Implement backup and recovery strategies to minimize data loss and downtime. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide efficient solutions for system issues. - Document and maintain standard operating procedures for backup and recovery processes. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Backup and Recovery Systems. - Strong understanding of data backup and recovery concepts and methodologies. - Experience with backup and recovery tools and technologies. - Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and implementation. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud-based backup and recovery solutions. - Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Backup and Recovery Systems. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
