Mission
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant (middle/senior level) with a focus on bank accounting, accounts payable, expense management. Responsibilities include managing and reconciling bank accounts, processing payments, monitoring balances, and maintaining accurate accounts payable and expense records.
Your outcomes
- Bank Account Management:
- Maintain and reconcile multiple bank accounts (US and non US based).
- Monitor daily bank transactions and ensure accuracy.
- Track and manage bank balances to ensure sufficient funds for operations.
- Prepare payment batches for approval.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure all bank transactions are recorded accurately in the accounting system.
- Assistance with Accounts Payable and Expense management:
- Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.
- Review and verify invoices and payment requests.
- Maintain vendor relationships and handle payment inquiries.
- Ensure expenses are recorded accurately and in compliance with company policies.
- Help in the preparation reports and analysis.
- General Ledger and Reporting support:
- Assist in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger.
- Post journal entries related to bank transactions, accounts payable, and expenses.
- Conduct regular reviews and reconciliations of relevant general ledger accounts.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Support external auditors during audits.
- Assist with other general accounting matters by request and capacity (fixed assets etc).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance
- Good technical skills (excel proficient)
- 3-5 years of experience in general accounting with a focus on bank accounting, accounts payable, and expense management
- Flexible and quick learner
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Bank integration experience will be an advantage
- Experience working with NetSuite will be an advantage
- Nice to have experience working and providing services to entities overseas, including the USA
- Fluency in English language
