Under supervision of more experienced technical personnel, qualify and implement alternative raw materials to ensure resilience of supply and operational continuity for products within Tech Services scope of responsibility. Provide support for manufacturing site changes for both internal and external manufacturing partners. Interface with cross functional R&D and Global Ops partners to oversee projects from feasibility to market introduction.

Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Supports the Technical Services Home Care Team by executing supply resiliency and quality improvement projects
  • Under direction of their supervisor, conducts bench-top formula development; monitors stability, performs testing to ensure products comply with established specifications and project goals.
  • Analyzes data, provides timely reports, and maintains complete and accurate records of experimental studies.
  • Participates in cross-functional project meetings with Product Development SME’s, Processing, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Legal, Procurement, Operations, and external partners.

Education and Experience

The successful candidate will have a B.S. degree from an accredited institution in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related disciplines, with 1-3 years of laboratory experience.

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to work independently on specified tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work on multiple, concurrent projects with manager supervision.
  • Demonstrated organizational, work planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with supervisor direction in a cross-functional environment involving marketing, processing, packaging, analytical, safety and clinical regulatory, etc.
  • Ability to investigate and analyze information and draw conclusions.
  • Good oral and written skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook. Ability to learn new computing skills, as required.
