THE OPPORTUNITY
This position will work out of our Austin or Plano, TX sites in the Neuromodulation division. Our Neuromodulation business is an area of expertise for Abbott. This business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders. Our Solutions include Proclaim (TM) XR SCS System, the #1 Spinal cord stimulator on the market, Proclaim (TM) DRG Neurostimulator, the only FDA approved DRG therapy and a market leader in radiofrequency ablation therapy, Abbott RFA. These non-opioid therapies allow us to provide interventional pain therapy to patients throughout the pain continuum. Our deep brain stimulation technology for progressive diseases help people manage their Parkinson’s disease and essential tremor symptoms, steering away from side effects.
As the Associate Digital Health Product Manager you will be responsible for the roadmap and strategy for products and services to create the future within the NeuroSphere™ Digital Health platform. This person plays a critical role in driving digital health strategies and bringing next level technology to the market for Abbott’s Neuromodulation business.
What You’ll Work On
Keeps abreast of industry trends, competitive offerings, and broader digital health opportunities and solutions
Partners to lead market research initiatives to understand gaps, market perception, current utilization, adoption, future solutions and key value drivers
Serve as the voice of the patient, clinician and sales rep on development programs
Owns targeting and customer segmentation for the NeuroSphere™ Digital Health suite of solutions to size key user groups
Constructs business cases for new features and capabilities with ROI justification based on app-use data, market research and robust analysis
Ensures documentation captures business and market needs
Manages & executes day-day alongside R&D, delivering on sprint plans and integrated UX feedback to drive product roadmap
Facilitates collaboration between regulatory and software to identify the regulatory pathway for medical and non-medical software modules where applicable
Partners with software, legal, regulatory, compliance, and privacy to secure approvals for new features and marketing material
Collaborates with downstream marketing to create launch plans, drive education and adoption of current and future patient app features with the field
Co-creates compelling, data-driven marketing claims and weaves these into approved marketing materials
Represents the business as subject matter expert during product demonstration, advisory boards, and across various events
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
2 years of experience with or exposure to sales and/or marketing in the following areas: healthcare, medical devices, or medical diagnostics to develop the competence reauire to meet the skills and responsibilities of the position.
Understanding of the technology and capabilities of the Division’s products, market and consumer dynamics, and sales process
Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting medical devices/diagnostics
Ability to work independently and in groups
Ability to work cross functionally
Ability to apply analytical thinking, problem solving, and critical-thinking skills
Ability to clearly, concisely, and accurately, convey communications, whether verbal, written or in presentations
Ability and aptitude to use various types of databases and other computer software.
Ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Master’s degree
3-5 years of experience in product management, preferred in digital solutions
Self-starter with growth mindset, willing to experiment with new ideas and take calculated risks
Familiar with regulatory compliance requirements and regulations
Excellent analytical and modeling skills for business case development
Ability to tell a user story clearly, concisely, and persuasively
Understanding of user experience and design
Ability to ideate, hypothesize and test
Ability to lead and influence without direct authority
Strong aptitude to learn
Excellent use of MS Office including PowerPoint and Excel software
Comfortable with digital development tools including Jira, Product Board, and Figma
Ability to learn new tasks quickly and coordinate multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross-division business unit model preferred.
Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.

The base pay for this position is
$72,700.00 – $145,300.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
