Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Program Control Manager 2. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) Ground Base Strategic Deterrent program.

The Program Control Manager 2 will lead a team of cost and schedule analyst. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency of developing and motivating staff in a team environment with excellent interpersonal, planning, presentation and organizational skills. 

What You’ll Get To Do:

  • Leads integration of all tools and systems to ensure accurate delivery of data internally and externally

  • Leads the resolution of Corrective Action Requests (CAR) issued from both internal and external organizations

  • Ensures effective compliance with EVMS requirements.

  • Ensures quality of cost and schedule data delivered to internal and external customers, including EVMS reporting requirements.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.  

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with 6+ years of industry related experience – OR – a Master’s degree with 4+ years of industry related experience.

  • At least 1 year leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule

  • Understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS).

  • Experience with Earned Value cost/schedule reporting (e.g. IPMRs, IPMDARs, CFSRs, and CCDR/CSDRs).

  • Experience operating within highly compliant business environments (e.g., Earned Value Management, TINA Compliant Cost Estimating, FAR/DFARS required Contracting, CAS, etc.).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with added emphasis on advanced Excel data analysis competency.

  • Experience utilizing Cobra, Primavera, MS Project and Acumen

  • Ability to obtain a DoD Secret level security clearance. US citizenship is a prerequisite.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • MBA or a Master’s degree in a Business related field.

  • Experience preparing and presenting financial analysis to team and/or management.

  • Experience using Deltek COBRA cost management and Oracle Primavera software tools.

  • Active Secret or Top-Secret security clearance.  US citizenship is a prerequisite.

Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
