THE ROLE

             

Your mission is to support in the creation of operational solutions for the successful implementation of hospitality programs for Overnight products (OVN), Stakeholders (STK), Custom Groups (CG) and Custom Individuals (CI).

This position requires the analysis of the complex Olympic environment, and the assistance in the formulation and execution of operational strategies to ensure that deadlines and priorities for OL product and service delivery to all constituents are met in a cost-effective manner at the OL standard of quality.

We are seeking a dynamic and detailed orientated Sr. Operations Manager with a strong background in hospitality operations, and established network of suppliers in Cortina and the Dolomites. The ideal candidate will ensure the seamless delivery  of events by managing logistics, coordinating with vendors, and optimizing resources in Cortina. This role requires a strong candidate with excellent organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple projects, and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Senior Director, Program Management Operations in the planning and execution phase for all constituent groups including:
    • Overnight Products (OVN) incl B2B and B2C guests
    • Stakeholder Programs (STK)
    • Custom Groups (CG)
    • Custom Individuals (CI)

  • Event Planning & Execution
    • Act as primary contact in the Cortina Cluster (boot on the ground) for Program Management
    • Manage itineraries and coordinate all client site inspections, as required by Program Directors and OLE management team
    • Oversee all operational aspects of event planning in Cortina, including logistics, staffing, equipment, offices and vendor coordination
    • Ensure all requirements are executed on time, within budget and meet quality standards
    • Maintain detailed event timeline and update project tracker, as required

  • Vendor Management
    • Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers and contractors as directed by Sr Dir, Ops Mgmt
    • Ensure timely delivery and setup of equipment and services
    • Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with contracts and service agreements

  • Budget & Resources Support
    • Develop and Manage event budget, ensuring cost control resource optimization
    • Track expenses and provide accurate financial reporting post-Olympic Games

  • Workforce (Games Time)
    • Train, and manage Cluster team in Cortina (not including staff for transportation, IVH and OVH).
    • Provide clear direction, support, and motivation to the team during program execution

Travel:

Must be adaptable with work and travel schedule and be available to travel for work which may include extended work hours during nights, weekends, and holidays.  This position may require up to 25% travel.
