This Distribution Center Operations, Operations Manager is responsible for leading a team of colleagues in our distribution centers. This includes the strategic planning, organizing, directing, controlling and managing the daily activities of the sorting, selection, loading and shipping.

In this role, you will plan, organize, schedule, forecast and coordinate work to meet production schedules and operational goals as well as analyze production, quality, and other operational reports, initiating changes, as needed, to ensure a high level of service to store operations. In addition, you will develop and implement plans, procedures, programs, and strategies to enhance performance, service level, and cost per piece.
**The hours for this 2nd shift role are 3PM-11PM EST**
The Distribution Center Operations, Manager is responsible for, but not limited to:
-Maintaining a high level of productivity and quality of all aspect of outbound area.
-Prepare departmental budget and control expenditures against approved budget.
-Administer policies/procedures in a fair and consistent manner.
-Professionally address issues with employees utilizing the proper resources.
-Develop and lead a supervisory staff with an emphasis on team building, communication, performance accountability, and positive employee relation’s management.
-Set clear goals for the departments and deliver on set goals.
-Promote and reinforce safety and security awareness and compliance among the supervisory staff and hourly
employee groups.
-Utilize performance reports on a regular basis to achieve metrics and establish action plans for continuous improvement
-Proven ability to think critically and strategically plan to improve performance in department.
-Assurance on time deliveries and customer service.
- Plans, organizes, schedules, forecasts, and coordinates work to meet production schedules and operational goals
- Reviews and analyses production, quality, and other operational reports, and initiates changes, as needed, to ensure a high level or service to store operations
- Possesses the ability to utilize a variety of reports, summaries, and procedures to project workload and resolve problems that arise
- Develops and implements plans, procedures, programs, and strategies to enhance performance, service level, and cost-per-piece
· Prepares department budget and control expenditures against approved budget
- Develops an accountable supervisory staff with an emphasis on positive employee relations management
- Ensures maximum utilization of manpower and equipment
-Perform other related duties as assigned by the operations manager.
Required Qualifications :
-3 years prior direct leadership experience in a distribution center or manufacturing environment.
-3 years prior experience managing shipping operations.
-3 years Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience.
-3 years of experience utilizing MS Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bilingual Spanish
- Prior experience working in a distribution facility that distributed pharmaceuticals is strongly desired.
- Familiarity with labor management standards.
- Continuous improvement /Six Sigma knowledge.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$54,300.00 - $119,340.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
