Telix Pharmaceuticals is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Director to lead the international brand strategy for our Pre-commercial Diagnostics (PDx) portfolio. This role is pivotal in preparing and executing the launch strategies for our innovative diagnostic solutions across global markets. The Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies, ensuring the successful positioning and promotion of our PDx products prior to commercialization and closely collaborating with the regional marketing teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in pre-commercial marketing within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a strong emphasis on diagnostics. They will possess a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and regulatory requirements, and will be adept at leveraging this knowledge to drive market development and product adoption.

Key Accountabilities

  • Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive pre-commercial marketing strategies for the PDx portfolio.
    • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and threats and develop actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, regulatory, medical affairs, commercial) to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
  • Brand Development: 
    • Lead the creation and execution of brand positioning, messaging, and value propositions for the PDx portfolio.
    • Develop and manage brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all marketing materials and channels.
    • Oversee the creation of promotional materials, including digital content, sales aids, and educational resources.
  • Market Preparation and Launch:
    • Drive the development and execution of go-to-market plans for new product launches in collaboration with the regional marketing teams.
    • Coordinate pre-launch activities, including market development, KOL engagement, and early access programs.
    • Monitor and analyze launch performance, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve commercial objectives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, payers, and patient advocacy groups.
    • Represent Telix Pharmaceuticals at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to promote the PDx portfolio.
    • Work closely with regional marketing teams to ensure alignment and execution of global strategies at the local level.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
    • Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure the successful implementation of marketing initiatives.
    • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of marketing experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or diagnostics industry, with 5+ years in a leadership role required.
  • Proven track record in pre-commercial and product launch marketing.
  • Strong understanding of global healthcare markets and regulatory environments.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
