Instructional Designer, Client Education

The Instructional Designer, Client Education develops and delivers innovative learning solutions to meet a variety of educational needs for the Intapp family of products. Our client education assets are grounded in sound educational theory and instructional design and developed utilizing industry-standard development technologies. The Instructional Designer, Client Education works with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) to perform needs and requirements analysis to provision the creation of content and events tailored to support the successful, effective, and efficient adoption of Intapp solutions amongst our client base. Intapp is building a best-in-class client education program, and this role will play a key part in that initiative.

What you will do:

  • Conducting needs/requirements analysis activities in collaboration with stakeholders and SMEs to identify relevant content for various end-learner/user audiences.
  • Developing a baseline understanding of Intapp solutions befitting the use cases and audiences for each industry vertical we serve.
  • Designing and creating compelling client education assets that effectively teach concepts, from eLearning to instructor-led content to printable quick reference materials and job aids.
  • Drafting storyboards and scripts for our Intapp University content in collaboration with our eLearning developers, while serving as our key review team, responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our content.
  • Actively engaging with product team stakeholders to stay abreast of the latest developments and release changes to ensure learning content reflects the most recent releases and updates.
  • Assisting in updating and maintaining Intapp’s Learning Management System (LMS).

What you will need:

  • A portfolio of work is part of the interview process. This can include writing samples, examples of eLearning content developed, or recordings of instructor-led learning.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in training and development, particularly the design and development of learning content for software solutions.
  • Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools and standards is a plus (e.g., Techsmith Camtasia, Articulate 360, Articulate Rise).
  • Experience with LMS administration strongly preferred; experience with the SkillJar platform a plus.
  • Understanding and familiarity with adult learning principles within an instructional design methodology a valuable plus.
  • Strong analytical skills that encompass an ability to collect purposeful input from multiple sources to utilize in the framework of analysis.
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to listen carefully, influence, and network with a broad spectrum of internal colleagues and external clients.
  • Resourceful problem-solver, driven by results and a desire to deliver excellence to clients.
  • Self-starter, reliable, collegial, and a team player who is comfortable working in a startup environment.
