Position Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to strategically support and engage across the CVS Health enterprise as a leader in Aetna’s Pharmacy team. In this leadership position, the ideal candidate will be a motivated, self-starter able to influence and prioritize various initiatives from ideation to execution. You will support the team responsible for coordinating all drug spend related activities across the Aetna lines of business, aligning with the Caremark for Aetna to have best-in-class pharmacy capabilities.
• Lead the management process across all LOBs for Pharmacy results, initiatives, emerging trends and enterprise strategy.
• Lead projects for the team
• Create and enhance use of accurate and actionable analytics, such as trend, membership, utilization, rebates in coordination with PBM and business/finance leadership to inform decision-making.
• Apply experience and industry knowledge to develop collaborative strategies, pharmacy performance opportunities and enhanced provider and member experience.
• Clearly and concisely draft/deliver oral and written communication, leveraging strong interpersonal skills with executive presence and ability to influence across disciplines and levels of seniority
• Provide/convey vision to large teams to guide multi-month fast-paced projects, establish key milestones driven by market/enterprise need, and direct matrixed teams
• Build and maintain strong relationships across key stakeholders and constituents
• Lead the development of strong strategic business cases for initiatives.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of healthcare/pharmacy strategy experience
• Strong understanding of the Pharmacy business is required
• PharmD will be highly valued.
• Experience developing executive-level presentations and supporting material to successfully implement strategy.
• Experience facilitating cross-functional teams’ efforts and creating governance processes.
• Ability to identify, structure and solve business problems
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Solid analytical skills and data acumen to track business outcomes quantitatively and qualitatively
• Mastery of problem solving and consulting within complex environments across large organizations
• Adept in working in an agile environment and leading decentralized teams
• Demonstrated experience developing analysis, presentations and support material to successfully execute initiatives
• Ability to interact with senior leadership and lead meetings/facilitate strategic workshops

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$131,500.00 - $303,195.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
