This role is onsite 5 days a week in La Mirada, CA

About the role

As a warehouse IT specialist, you will have accountability to help us maintain networks, security camera systems, badge systems, alarm systems, printers, desktops & laptops, and automation systems. A successful candidate should have some experience in IT project coordination and a solid technical background, together with good organizational, analytical, and learning abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and maintain IT infrastructure, such as a WAN/LAN network, Access Point, MDF/IDF, video conference, security camera, warehouse badge/alarm system, etc. 
  • Provide daily IT support for warehouse operations, including network, desktop/server, barcode & Wi-Fi printer, scanner, touch screen, PDA, UPS, other IT equipment warehouse management system, etc.
  • Maintain all IT equipment and automation systems in good working condition.
  • Install, configure & troubleshoot desktop/PC operating system, hardware, software and app, video conference, printer, etc., and support employee onboard/offboard.
  • Manage IT equipment inventory, IT assets, and user access privileges.
  • Build and maintain warehouse automation system related to IT server, storage, and applications if needed.
  • Analyze error reports and system alerts to identify robots, charging stations, and other equipment.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, error logs, and performance metrics to track the health and performance of robotic systems over time. 
  • Write SOP, and user manual documents, and provide IT training to end users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions and projects. 
  • Other projects or tasks assigned by the warehouse Operations Manager/Director.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in IT support.
  • Proficient in configuring network devices, troubleshooting network issues, configuring servers, and Vmware ESXi/vCenter.
  • Experienced computer troubleshooting skills (windows 10, Mac OS & Linux OS).
  • Possess good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-known security camera system & badge system.
  • Familiarity with server installation, configuration, and management.
  • Proficiency in Linux systems, including setup, management, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with VMware deployment, cluster setup, and high availability (HA) configuration.
  • Expertise in NAS storage configuration, including file sharing, NFS, and ensuring high availability.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with cross-functional teams and end users.
  • Nimble and patient with good communication skills.
  • Warehouse-related IT support experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese Mandarin is preferred

Work Schedule: 

  • On call
  • Flexible work schedule, including the ability to work evening shifts and weekends.

Compensation Range

  • The US base salary range for this full-time position is $66,560 - $76,000
  • This role may be eligible to discretionary bonus, incentives and benefits 
  • Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
