Cyber Security – Analyst

Salary: National ranging from £51,200 to £78,700 and London from £56,400 - £86,600

The team/department

The Senior Associate Analyst sits within the Cyber Security Group focused on operating enterprise security services for the organisation. The Cyber Security Analyst will have expertise within a given domain and will be the subject matter expert (SME) / point of contact for that work.

What you will be doing (the role)

  • Involvement in Security incidents and ensure outcomes align with business priorities and policy

  • Provide BAU Security Operations support to business processes to ensure access and change is aligned with FCA guidelines and processes

  • Supporting the security BAU operations, IGA, PKI & PAM

  • Identity & Access Management Business Support - Strategic implementation and ongoing maintenance of systems and processes that control user access to critical resources, ensuring secure authentication, authorisation, and compliance with regulatory requirements across the business

  • Incident Investigations and Remediation - Examination of security incidents to uncover their root causes, followed by the development and application of effective strategies to eliminate vulnerabilities and prevent future occurrences

The skills and experience you will have 

Minimum Criteria

We are a signatory to the Government’s Disability Confident scheme. This means that we will offer an interview to disabled candidates entering under the scheme, should they meet the minimum criteria for a role.  

  • Experience of Security frameworks such as NIST, CIS 

  • Exposure to relevant technical architecture, environments, platforms, software industry and business practices 

  • Experience of cyber security principles, tools, processes, and procedures 

Essential criteria

  • Hands on experience operating within a security operation centre (SOC) would be advantageous

  • Experience with Zscaler or similar

  • Experience with Delina or similar
