Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • ESG Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive ESG strategy that aligns with the company's vision, values, and long-term objectives.
  • Environmental Initiatives: Lead efforts to reduce the organization's environmental footprint through responsible resource management, energy efficiency, and sustainable practices.
  • Social Responsibility: Oversee social initiatives and community engagement, fostering positive relationships with employees, stakeholders, and the broader community.
  • Governance and Ethics: Promote strong corporate governance and ethical practices, ensuring transparency and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting transparency and ESG principles throughout the organization.
  • ESG Reporting: Prepare and publish ESG reports for internal and external stakeholders, adhering to relevant reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB).
  • Sustainability and Impact Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of ESG initiatives and report progress to leadership.
  • Employee Training and Engagement: Develop training programs and foster a culture of ESG awareness and responsibility among employees.
  • ESG Investment and Procurement: Collaborate with finance and procurement to make responsible investment and procurement decisions, including ESG-focused investment strategies and ethical supplier selection.
  • Advocacy and Partnerships: Represent the company in industry associations and partnerships related to ESG and corporate sustainability.
  • Quality Integration: Collaborate with the integration of both management systems (ISO9001-ISO14001), to ensure compliance with regulations and standards related to quality and sustainability. This involves keeping abreast of legal and regulatory requirements and establishing mechanisms to ensure compliance in all areas of the company.
  • Quality Support: Conduct a detailed analysis of existing procedures, policies, indicators, and objectives in both areas to start the implementation of continuous improvement in Pegasus Logistics Group.
  • Ability to travel internationally.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, ESG).
  • 2+ years experience in related field
  • 3+ years experience in leadership
  • In-depth knowledge of ESG principles, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks and data analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across various departments.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Master's degree in Sustainability, ESG, or related field.
  • ISO14001 environmental standard experience.
  • Carbon Neutrality Knowledge.
  • Expertise in occupational and environmental health.

Physical Requirements:

  • Remain in a stationary/seated position for an extended period.
  • Regularly required to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and other office machinery.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
  • The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
