We are seeking an experienced Social Media and Strategy Manager to lead the development and execution of social media strategies across China and Southeast Asia. This role is responsible for creating impactful content strategies, managing cross-platform campaigns, and aligning them with local market trends and business objectives. The ideal candidate will oversee high-quality, localized content creation in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams while ensuring brand consistency and relevance to Southeast Asian audiences.
What You'll Do
Strategic Development
Develop and implement social media strategies tailored for China and Southeast Asia markets.
Collaborate closely with Chinese suppliers to align content strategies with business goals and adapt them for Southeast Asian audiences.
Manage cross-platform social media strategies, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, Douyin, etc., ensuring alignment with regional trends and user preferences.
Provide high-level strategic planning and social media advice to senior management.
Content Creation and Collaboration
Manage supplier relationships to produce high-quality, localized content (videos, images, and copy) for the Southeast Asian market.
Ensure brand consistency across all content while optimizing internal workflows for timely and quality delivery.
Guide suppliers to focus on market-specific details, ensuring content is relevant and appealing in the Southeast Asian region.
Content Distribution and Market Strategy in Southeast Asia
Develop and execute comprehensive content distribution plans to efficiently deliver supplier-produced content in Southeast Asia.
Optimize content strategies using performance data and analytics to better serve the Southeast Asian market.
Collaborate with internal Southeast Asia teams to gain insights into local market dynamics and consumer behavior.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Evaluate the effectiveness of content campaigns and social media plans through data analysis.
Provide regular updates and performance reports to management, highlighting key success metrics and areas for improvement.
Use tools like Google Analytics, social media management platforms, and regional insights data to guide strategy adjustments.
Management and Planning
Align content strategies with broader business goals and objectives for the Southeast Asian market.
Act as a bridge between the Hangzhou team and Southeast Asian market teams, ensuring consistency in planning and execution.
Offer strategic recommendations to senior management to leverage social media for market expansion.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree
3+ years of social media experience in the E-Commerce industry
Fluent in English for communication and reading.
In-depth understanding of social media trends, platforms, and user behaviors in China and Southeast Asia.
Data-driven, with the ability to optimize and adjust strategies.
Experience in collaborating with content production suppliers to create high-quality, market-specific content.
Skilled in cross-cultural teamwork to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
