ITO PMO Project Assistant Intern

Description -

Position Overview:

The ITO PMO Project Assistant Intern will be responsible for supporting the ITO PMO team in managing and executing projects, with a focus on financial analysis and PO (Purchase Order) process management. This internship will provide hands-on experience in project management, financial analysis, and operational processes within a dynamic IT organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis:

  • Collect and analyze financial data related to ITO projects, including cost estimates, budget tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in identifying cost savings opportunities and developing strategies to optimize project budgets.

PO Process Management:

  • Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate processing of POs.
  • Monitor PO status and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise.
  • Maintain records of POs and related financial transactions.

Project Support:

  • Assist in the preparation of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Track project progress and report on milestones and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and change requests.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to project management and stakeholders.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Support project meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute-taking.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and other project-related materials.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, including cost estimation, budget tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Knowledge of PO process management and procurement procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is a plus.
