Leidos currently has an opening for a Portfolio Business Intern to work in our Beavercreek, OH office. This is an exciting opportunity to support US Air Force (USAF) Life Cycle Management Center (LCMC) and Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) programs at the Portfolio Level.  This position will report directly to the local Leidos Portfolio Manager and support the day-to-day leadership to a team of engineers and developers, supporting a large technology portfolio ($100M+), and monitoring technical, schedule, and budget constraints.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist in the oversight and management of the day-to-day execution aspects of current and future projects while serving as a liaison between program management and program teams for the Portfolio Manager
  • Collects and reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports for review to Program Management teams.
  • Assesses project financial status and develops resolutions to meet on objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress
  • Administratively provide, track, and maintain status of CDRLs pertaining to contractual efforts.
  • Supports Pipeline management functions

Basic Qualifications

  • Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business Management
  • Candidate shall have knowledge, experience and demonstrated ability to perform independently
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with self-management skills.
  • Experience or familiarity with planning of projects including but not limited to labor, scope, and statement of work.
  • Labor forecasting/management experience; familiarity with use of an RLN, ROM, and other project management tools.
  • Great interpersonal skills and the ability to work and lead as part of a multi-disciplined team.
  • Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications.
  • US Citizenship required for this role.
  • An ability to obtain a Secret level clearance

Pay Range:

Pay Range $39,000.00 - $70,500.00
