Position Summary

Provides reporting, budgeting, analytical, and accounting support for assets held in entities managed by the Department.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides financial reporting, analysis and multi-system reconciliation to senior management for assigned department. Works with internal departments to ensure timing and accuracy of transactional data. Assists in developing various annual operating budgets and periodic variance analysis.
  • Provides management with accurate reporting.
  • Assists in the tracking, reviewing, reconciling and reporting of financial information associated with department including budget analysis and reconciliation, coordinating and consolidating financial records and support and cost certification preparation.
  • Evaluates internal processes, systems, reporting and other applicable department functions to determine where efficiencies and/or opportunities may be gained for the betterment of the department; the overarching goal to provide senior management effective tools to administer and plan for, the assets it oversees.
  • Develops and maintains standard reporting packages for assigned department(s). Provides management with accurate reporting.
  • Works with campus partners to provide reporting on activities and expenses required for university-wide, advancement, regulatory, and tax requirements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

$58,400.00 - $99,700.00 / Annually

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
