Financial Analyst, Tax US & Canada - TEMPORARY JOB (10 Months)

Join our team! and be responsible for maintaining accounts and records in various general and/or cost accounting functions. 

Please notice that this is a ten-month temporary role.

About the Role
In this opportunity as a Financial Analyst you will: 

  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
  • Assist in preparing tax calculations and tax returns.
  • Assist with preparation and coordination of the audit process.
  • Assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts.
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.


About You
You’re a fit for this role if your background includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required, OR equivalent qualification OR significant development after specialized vocational training OR substantial professional development after High School Degree.
  • Advanced English proficiency is required both written and spoken. Candidates will be tested before setting up the first interview.
  • Previous experience in US & Canada taxes is preferred
  • At least 5 years of professional accounting experience with multi-national companies.
  • Knowledge of common accounting procedures.
  • Effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills with a competence in presenting in a professional and influential manner.
  • Attention to fine detail and demonstrate high-level of accuracy.
  • Enterprise resource planning ERP software — for example, SAP, Oracle, BEx, BlackLine.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Strong collaboration skills and effective in a team environment; proven ability to effectively transfer knowledge to build team competence.
  • Highly responsive and committed to results with a strong customer orientation. Driving Results. Thinking Globally. Collaborating across Boundaries. Problem Solving. Organizing as well as prioritizing ability. Ability to work independently.
