About the Role

Responsible for Embedded Value (EV) and Value of New Business (VONB) related reporting

EV / VoNB Prophet Workspace maintenance -

• Work efficiently within the team to ensure timely cash flows delivery for VoNB and EV related reporting.
• Carry out investigation and explanation on unusual trend and support on EV / VoNB ad-hoc request for the line of business in-charged.
• Work seamlessly with relevant team(s) to ensure model developments and impact assessments are properly implemented, explained and documented.

EV and VoNB Reporting

• Manage and coordinate efficiently within the team to ensure timely delivery of cash flows for results compilation and management reports
• Carry out investigation and confidently explain the result’s reasonableness, experience variance versus forecast, VoNB margin movement
• Handle various collaborators request/ enquiries on EV / VoNB confidently. Communicate the results/findings/financial insights to the supervisor and Chief Actuary for any necessary management actions.
• Actively participate in the strategy planning for EV / VoNB budget.

Others

• Embrace EODB and improve process workflows in order to achieve higher efficiency and productivity to achieve the fast close timeline.
• Implement process controls while automating processes to minimize systematic errors.
