We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Vice President, Enterprise Workforce Management Position Management Lead - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Org Dev & HR Strat Group Mgr - C14) based in Chennai, India. The Enterprise Workforce Management (EWM) team is responsible of leading Citi’s transformation efforts around staffing and skill adequacy and organization design. It is an exciting time to join the team as we are in the building phase of developing the set of capabilities, processes, and tools to analyze, forecast, organize, and plan for the future of the workforce. We are a global team with highly motivated colleagues who are focused on ensuring Citi has the right number of people, with the right skills, at the right place, time and cost. This role is part of the enterprise workforce management team and is responsible for position management governance.
In this role, you’re expected to:
Define and design position management governance process in partnership with EWM Staffing Design & Implementation and EWM Org Design teams
Define monitoring oversight related to position management including associated controls, process documentation, and desktop procedure
Implement and embed position management governance across Workforce Management processes including executing appropriate controls and monitoring activities
Define success metrics and reporting requirements execute position management monitoring
Drive assessment and monitoring processes with data analysis
Leverage position management data to drive insights for staffing adequacy processes including inputs into management reporting
Own processes that ensure workforce planning framework related to position management monitoring process are effectively applied, with checkpoints throughout the process to mitigate risks and inaccuracies and their potential downstream impacts
Partner with EWM Staffing Adequacy and Dual Roles and Matrix Reporting (DRMR) Leads to drive synergies across monitoring activities and existing processes
Support transformation projects execution including direct ownership of deliverables and activities
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
8-10+ years’ experience in strategic workforce planning / workforce management / management reporting / business intelligence.
Ability to analyze data and prepare executive level reports and insights.
Experience in creating, tracking, and managing metrics. Good understanding of key principles involved in strategic workforce planning or background in financial planning or business operations.
Demonstrated experience of presenting complex ideas, data and analysis in a visually accessible way, ability to draft presentations and documentations to communicate key conclusions and complex issues to senior stakeholders.
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to adapt to shifting goals and priorities.
Ability to understand, marshal and interpret a wide range of information, ideas, and concepts, draw conclusions, and make recommendations.
Experience in driving Transformation and Change management in a large organization
Hands on experience in writing and managing procedures and policies.
Comfortable to work with ambiguity and managing high-paced environment with changing priorities.
Intellectually strong with a growth mindset, with a proactive can-do attitude to project delivery and “get things done” in a tight deadline.
Strong analytical skills with good attention to details, while keeping focus on the big picture; able to connect the dots across multiple pieces of work.
Ability to deliver results and on-time delivery of work.
Exceptional written and verbal communication.
Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills demonstrating cross-cultural understanding and knowledge across multiple geographic locations.
