Manage the development, implementation, and execution of Health and Safety awareness and compliance programs across GoDaddy’s global workforce. Promote a “threat to business” and “risk aware” culture through effective regulatory and security practices. Additionally, the successful candidate will serve as the Security and Resilience subject matter expert for multiple business units and regional EMEA leadership providing flexible and agile support. Identify, assess and supervise enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders with the information they need to make critical decisions.

What you'll get to do...

  • Develop and implement comprehensive Health and Safety policies and procedures in line with local and international standards, ensuring they are adapted to the needs of each country/US state
  • Work closely with local, regional, and global teams to ensure health and safety standards are consistently applied. Engage with external customers such as health and safety consultants, local authorities, and certification bodies
  • Health and Safety/Security Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct regular Health and Safety/Security risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategic measures to mitigate these risks, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees
  • Build and implement comprehensive Health and Safety training initiatives for employees at every level, encouraging a safety-conscious culture throughout the entire organisation
  • Lead the response to any Health and Safety incidents, conducting detailed investigations and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
  • Implement physical security protocols and emergency response procedures within a corporate environment. This includes access control systems, CCTV surveillance, and security personnel management

Your experience should include...

  • 5+ years of experience in occupational Health and Safety management, preferably within a global tech company
  • In depth knowledge of relevant Health and Safety regulations, standards, and guidelines
  • Previous experience in the EMEA region, South Africa and Australia
  • Previous involvement with a prominent law enforcement, intelligence, public service, or private sector security organisation is a plus
  • Experience managing people, multiple projects and vendors with successful delivery, timely and on budget in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid track record to thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires you to be proactive, self-sufficient, and handle your time optimally
  • Proficient English skills – both verbal and written
