Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as software detectives, providing a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of applications and providing technical support to end-users. Your typical day will involve troubleshooting and resolving software issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to key decisions to enhance system performance and user experience. Roles & Responsibilities: -• Linux Administration including NW/Storage/user Admin troubleshooting • Oracle Cloud architectural understanding and experience in setting up instances on cloud, including DBaaS model. • Working knowledge of Oracle VM configuration in PCA, external storage integration for PCA • Scripting knowledge, as we are doing patching or other activities to multiple servers from Jump server through script • Automatic Storage Management (ASM), and Oracle VM/Virtualization. • Applying Oracle critical rollup Patch Sets for operating System/DOMU • Basic of DOM0 level patching(Need expertise knowledge if it come to our backet, currently handling by Oracle) • Hardware failure investigation, needs to work closely with Oracle • Command level expertise for EXACC like exack, tfadiag,CRS and others • Must have Oracle/AWS/Azure Cloud knowledge to support Gen2 Infra(Certification preferred ) • Agree to work on Weekend, Night Shift and regional Festival • Ability to work with Oracle for Any issue Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Linux. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud technologies. - Strong understanding of system administration and troubleshooting. - Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell or Python. - Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Nagios or Zabbix. - Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL or Oracle. - Understanding of networking concepts and protocols. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Linux. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
