Lower end of the pay range will apply to candidates who meet minimum experience or have limited years of relevant experience. The higher end of the pay range will apply to seasoned candidates with considerable years of relevant experience.

PATH Ventures is seeking candidates passionate about helping others make a positive change in their lives to join our Real Estate team as the Asset Management Coordinator at the RHC Office.

PATH Ventures is a statewide leader in the development of affordable and supportive housing communities. Recognizing that homelessness is fundamentally a housing issue, PATH, one of the largest homeless services providers in California, created PATH Ventures in 2007. Since its creation, PATH Ventures has completed 27 residential projects and is on track to have a total of 44 residential communities in the next several years.

ABOUT THE JOB
As part of the Real Estate team, the Asset Management Coordinator will work with the Associate Director of Asset Management to manage the overall operations and performance of PV’s properties. As part of the Asset Management team, the responsibility of the AMC is to assist with overseeing the housing portfolio’s performance and success. 

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Maintains regular contact with property managers, developers and various stakeholders to ensure a smooth and coordinated approach. Seek opportunities for reducing energy and water consumption across our properties, while performing research to identify new sustainable building features and practices. This includes attending property meetings on a regular basis, where they act as a bridge between ownership and the operational and residential service teams, facilitating the exchange of crucial information. 
  • Vigilantly tracks asset performance against well-defined benchmarks to gauge their effectiveness and efficiency. Additionally, it is imperative to continuously assess potential risk factors that could potentially affect the performance of these assets. Maintaining meticulous and up-to-date records is vital in this process, facilitating the production of regular reports that provide comprehensive insights into asset performance. 
  • Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and legal requirements is a top priority within PATH Venture’s affordable housing portfolio. This entails a comprehensive approach, which includes monitoring and analyzing regulatory requirements at the local, state, and federal levels. The successful candidate will be able to assist with the completion of all the requirements of the property.  
  • Monitor and analyze the financial performance of the affordable housing portfolio. 
  • Support implementation of operational strategies to achieve portfolio goals. 
  • Assist with the completion of compliance with regulatory requirements. 
  • As part of a team, help to manage relationships with external partners. 
  • Occasionally, visit sites to achieve property goals. 
  • Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations. 
  • Assist with other asset management tasks as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Affordable housing experience preferred. 
  • Multi-family experience preferred. 
  • Strong analytical background.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • One to Three years of relevant experience in asset management. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Regardless of qualifications, candidates must:

  • Have employment eligibility verification
  • Have or be able and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid training
  • Successfully complete the following as a condition of hire:
    • Tuberculosis Test
    • Background Screening
    • Drug Test

DRIVING
Driving is an essential function of this position. To meet the employment requirements for this role, all candidates must: 

  • Have reliable transportation
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Proof of insurance and ownership for personal vehicles used during work duties
  • The ability to qualify for PATH's insurance coverage
