Job Summary
The Stationary Engineer performs general maintenance duties / repairs as assigned.Pay Range
Minimum $38.72 Midpoint $51.30 Maximum $63.88Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
* Required: Minimum five (5) years of plant maintenance experience.
* Preferred: Ten (10) years of plant maintenance experience.
Education
* Required: High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent. Steam license and/or certificate of training from any recognized college or trade school.
Training
* Required: Trade school or on the job training with recognized service organization.
Specialized Skills
* Required: Ability to work in a busy patient and public environment. Ability to communicate effectively in English - both verbally and in writing. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality at all times according to current HIPAA laws. Ability to work day, evening, night and weekend shifts as assigned. Ability to work on own with only minimal supervision.
* Preferred: Certification in one or more of the following: Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Boiler and Central Plant Operations. EPA Certification.
