Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing is currently looking for Tool and Die Makers (CNC Machinists) to join their team in San Antonio, TX.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

The CNC Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprints, and quality control standards.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC milling machines.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

  • Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures.

  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.

  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment.

  • Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

  • Document production data and maintain accurate records.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist.
  • Proficient in operating CNC machines (milling, turning, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of G-code programming and CNC controls.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Strong computing skills, excellent communication skills and be customer-oriented

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM/CATIA software is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Typical Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining preferred.

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.


Salary Summary: $68,640 - $33.00 hour


Additive Pay: $1.00/hourly for Airframe Certification
$1.00/hourly for Powerplant Certification
$2.00/hourly for both Airframe & Powerplant Certifications
