Support, advise, and negotiate IP-intensive deals, including strategic partnerships, joint development efforts, IP licenses, and innovation activities.
Partner with and serve the needs of Nike’s Global IP, Legal, GPA, business, and innovation teams.
Work with Global IP teams to optimize the GC IP portfolio (trademark, copyright, design patent, and utility patent).
Support GC IP team to develop and implement IP protection strategy in Greater China (“GC”).
Support Trade Show monitoring and enforcement program.
Handling the contract review and legal matters in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau
Managing local outside counsels and billing matters
Supporting local business and stakeholders as primary legal contact window in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau
Conducting research, investigating facts and developing legal arguments
Archiving contracts and legal documents
Keeping track of new changes in local legal framework and providing timely updates on these changes
Other matters and works assigned by line manager and GC legal leadership team
Requirements:
Bachelor or above in Laws or related disciplines.
Attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
Ability to interact with all levels of Nike, and outstanding interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work within a fast paced environment while having good judgment.
Proven ability to handle all information in a confidential manner.
