Job Description

U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Services is one of the largest providers of corporate trust services in the world. Our clients look to us for trustee, agency, escrow, document custody and money market issuing services via our 48 domestic offices and three international offices. The Investor Reporting (IR) and Global Structured Finance (GSF) groups are divisions within U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Services and provide services on various mortgage-backed securities (MBS) and asset-backed securities (ABS). These services include Trust Reporting, which requires review of the deal documents, set up of cashflow priorities, collection of periodic asset activity data, reporting to bondholders, and when required, trust tax reporting.

Essential functions include: Troubleshoot and resolve processing issues by interpreting complex financial data sets. Maintain and prioritize Kanban boards. Maintain in-house support knowledgebase. Compile and analyze incident reports for support patterns. Coordinate with processing and operations teams to ensure correct payments are received and made. Perform quality control review of reports, meeting timeliness and accuracy standards. Interacts with business line, product support and development teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience

  • Three to five years of relevant work experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Strong background/experience in iManage, iTax and iFactor

  • Demonstrated knowledge/experience in corporate trust, investor reporting, mortgage-backed securities and asset-backed securities

  • Strong Microsoft SSMS/SSIS/SSMS and Power BI skills

  • Bachelor's degree in data or computer science

  • Knowledge of structured finance transactions, investments, accounting principles, and loan servicing operations

  • Strong data analytics and BI skills

  • Strong statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Versed in Agile development and support methodologies

  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Experience interacting/collaborating with a multi-functional product team

  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet established deadlines in a dynamic working environment with minimal supervision

  • Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications, with strong knowledge of Excel

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $83,980.00 - $98,800.00 - $108,680.00
