The Product Manager for AI Products will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Monotype's offerings. You will delve deep into user behavior to uncover insights that drive the development of compelling AI features. Collaborating closely with our Product and AI teams, you will define the roadmap for AI feature development, ensuring that each feature aligns with our strategic goals and enhances user satisfaction. Your work will directly contribute to the integration of AI technologies across Monotype's product portfolio, requiring a seamless partnership with Engineering to bring these innovations to life.
What you’ll be doing:
• Lead the strategy for incorporating AI technologies into Monotype products, identifying opportunities for AI to add value based on comprehensive user behavior research.
• Work with the Product and AI teams to define clear, impactful AI features. Develop and maintain a feature roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on user needs (desirability), business value (viability), and technical feasibility.
• Conduct in-depth research to understand user needs, preferences, and behaviors. Translate these insights into actionable AI feature specifications that solve real user problems.
• Act as the linchpin between the Product, AI, and Engineering teams, ensuring a cohesive approach to AI feature development, integration, and deployment.
• Define metrics for success and implement tracking mechanisms to measure the impact of AI features. Use data to make informed decisions about feature adjustments and future development efforts.
• Stay abreast of AI trends and competitor movements. Leverage market insights to inform our AI feature strategy and maintain our competitive edge. What we’re looking for:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Technical Degree OR 3+ years in Product Development and/or Product Management Experience, with at least 2 years focused on developing and integrating AIdriven features.
• Demonstrable experience in conducting user research, defining product features, and successfully bringing AI-enhanced products to market.
• Strong understanding of AI and machine learning technologies. Comfortable working closely with engineering teams and speaking their language.
• Ability to derive insights from data, understand user behavior, and measure feature success with precision.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex AI concepts to nontechnical stakeholders and foster collaboration across teams. • Thrives in a fast-paced environment, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and adjusting priorities as needed. • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
