Supervisor – Ambulatory Care Network – Access Unit - Weill Cornell

This leadership role will supervise department activities and staff to ensure effective operations of a Insurance Verification and Authorization department. Come join a busy department that is providing and leading a team of Account Representatives and Senior Account Representatives while providing guidance in day-to-day operations. In this role and collaboration with the Program Manager and Director will be responsible for establishing baseline standards for meeting performance goals and monitoring work performance.

Preferred Criteria

  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Bachelor’s degree

Required Criteria

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of one (1) year work experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to focus detailed, concentrated effort to multiple projects and re-establish priorities as necessary
  • Ability to effectively respond to time sensitive issues
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate activity in a busy environment within the context of a large medical center and health care delivery system.

$74,000-$97,600/Annual
