Job Description

As a candidate for the AP Junior Accountant position, I will process purchase order-related invoices for payment, resolve discrepancies by interfacing with business partners and vendors, and review the escheatment and debit balance reports to take corrective action with suppliers.

You will report to the Team Leader of Accounts Payable.

Challenges waiting for you:

  • Review, verify, and process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts.
  • Obtain necessary approvals for payment processing.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries, discrepancies, and issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in the accounts payable function.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to accounts payable.
  • Process any corrections.
  • Verify payment proposal.

Qualifications:

  • At least bachelor’s degree.
  • At least six months of experience in this role or a related position,
  • Very good English.
  • Well-organized and strong attention to details.
  • High communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic.
