Job Description

Job Summary

Collects, analyzes, monitors, and reports on the organization’s financial matters, managing and ensuring compliance with the organization’s financial policies, professional standards and all laws. Responsible for supporting general accounting, fixed assets, accounts payable and expense reimbursement and revenue accounting (including accounts receivable).


Job Responsibilities

  • Analyzes and administers all business aspects, including security, for accounting systems and identifies opportunities and utilizes system technology to create process improvements
  • Provides system administration support for Accounting applications
  • Performs a range of assignments and may lead projects within own discipline
  • Applies working knowledge of business and best practices gained through understanding of key business drivers and recognition of how accounting operations integrates within organization
  • Works within guidelines and polices to accomplish objectives and goals
  • Solves moderately complex to complex problems and analyzes possible solutions using technical experience, judgement and precedents
  • Explains complex and/or sensitive information in a straightforward manner
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues, provides guidance to less experienced team members
  • Individual contributor working with limited oversight
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by management


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred


Experience

  • Typically requires 5+ years of related work experience
