Northrop Grumman is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to provide cybersecurity and networked system administration expertise in the MEP BU within the PGSD Division. This position will be located in East Hartford, CT. MEP is a critical business unit serving greater Northrop Grumman and External customers. You will combine your experience in creating, managing, and maintaining Microsoft Windows domains using Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and Windows Server Update Service (WSUS) with a solid fundamental understanding of computing and networking to assist in creating, updating, and providing analysis for our training systems. You will work as part of the cyber team on creating and verifying technical documentation for the products you will support. You will work in concert with the software, systems, and test engineers to field these systems. High visibility with true success and uplift of working manufacturing environments.
Job Duties:
· Build automated system deployments; perform OS image updates and customizations with MDT/WDS; determine patch and driver versions and execute downloads; define/update domain configurations, BIOS configurations, and Network Attached Storage (NAS) configurations; perform VM creation, PXE boot, RAID Configuration, registry edits, GPO edits, DNS configuration, DHCP edits; support software installations, web interface/server updates (basic), RHEL updates, basic RHEL admin, system deployment, and backups/restores; provide inputs and edits to automate/script tasks; and develop process documentation.
· Office infrastructure management and setup – laptops, server-side software patching, computer refreshes, procurement, and deployment of OS updates.
· Follow guidance from the sector CISO cyber engineers to ensure compliance with customer and internal Cyber Security standards and requirements such as DFARS and CMMC.
· Develop, create, maintain, and document enclave environments. Collaborating with internal business owners to properly document and fill out environment ISSP, update POA&Ms and other key fields to meet cyber requirements via Archer.
· Perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.
· Collaboration with systems and cyber engineers to analyze scans, determine patch and software versions, interact with software engineering for software hardening, network security & configurations, and security updates to equipment such as printers, UPS, storage, etc.
· Documentation of processes for both internal use and as contract deliverables.
· Active directory group management.
· Working with approved vendors on machine, network, and upgrade capabilities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years' experience or relevant Masters Degree with 0 years of experience Or an Associates Degree with 4 years of experience. High School Diploma / Equivalent with 6 years’ experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
- Knowledge of general principles of Microsoft Domain System Administration to create and maintain small air-gapped LAN systems.
- Specific experience with the following elements of Microsoft Windows domain administration tools is required: Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, DHCP, WSUS, and Windows Deployment Services (WDS).
- Interpret Cyber Security scan report data, research appropriate mitigations, and configure and integrate new software products into an established baseline.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with system backup and restore capabilities and understanding the requirements and obstacles to maintaining a backup/restore plan across disparate system configurations.
- Understanding of RAID and integration of NAS devices into a system
- Ability to write and understand technical documentation.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing support and machinery.
- Basic understanding of how to update and configure system BIOS.
- Reimaging PCs and critical updates for Shopfloor environments
- Experienced upgrading manufacturing environments from Windows 10 to 11.
- Experience with basic administration and maintenance of Linux, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Certification to support Information Assurance Technician Level I or II validation (i.e., CompTIA A+ (CE), Network+(CE), Security+(CE), etc.) or ability to obtain.
Salary Range: $87,200.00 - $130,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
