As a Global Investment Control Manager, you will provide leadership and guidance to a small team of associates and oversee the daily operations of investment activities. This includes ensuring orders are processed accurately and timely, while maintaining adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. You will also partner with other managers and specialists across the department in a continued effort to grow, scale and achieve greater efficiency in our processes and operations. You will develop a high performing and highly engaged team through coaching, mentoring, identifying stretch opportunities, assigning work, and managing performance. You will be expected to model Capital Group's core values while managing complexity and ambiguity, as well as demonstrating critical thinking, excellent communication, and strong decision-making skills to plan, oversee, and guide the work to deliver optimal outcomes.

As a manager, you will foster strong relationships with the Investment Group, Trading, Legal, Investment Compliance, and other operational teams in support of daily production and Capital’s strategic business priorities.

  • You are experienced with operations in an asset management setting and understand the complexities of order management, trade authorization, portfolio compliance, trade processing and settlement.
  • You have experience working with technology and project management teams to implement strategic initiatives that enable greater scale and mitigate risk.

  • You have an undergraduate degree. CFA, MBA, or other related advanced degree preferred.

Southern California Base Salary Range: $148,045-$236,872

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
