Enbridge Gas Ohio (EGO) is hiring an Associate Business Process Analyst who will analyze and make recommendations for changes to internal processes and/or standards/specifications to create more efficient and economical operations for EGO and our delivery business areas. The Associate Analyst will also assist on multiple concurrent projects to identify and document the major business processes associated with the business unit.

Here’s what you will do:

  • Responsible for assisting with analysis and making recommendations for changes to internal processes and/or standards/specifications to create more efficient and economical operations for the company and its business areas.

  • Assist on projects to identify and document the major business processes associated with the business unit.

  • Conduct benchmarking and best practice analysis of the business unit's processes against both industry and non-industry processes.

  • Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business processes within the entire business unit without jeopardizing reliability, availability, or safety.

  • Develop business cases to support recommendations, and monitor the progress associated with the implementation of recommended changes.

  • Apply process modeling tools, process improvement methodology, benchmarking, project management, and change management to projects.

  • Responsible for monitoring compliance activities, data mining for accuracy, running, tracking, and creating reports upon various requests.

Who you are:

You have:

  • 0-2 years directly related experience with a related Bachelor's degree OR 2+ years directly related experience with a related Associate's degree.

  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple project teams simultaneously.

  • Strong customer service orientation.

  • Excellent documentation skills.

  • Ability to plan, organize, and facilitate work sessions in a team environment.

  • Microsoft Excel skills and ability to manipulate data into tables, charts, and other presentation modes.

  • Good communication skills.

You are:

  • Proficient in application of business process improvement methodology, benchmarking, and change management.

  • Willing to learn and can apply new skill sets.

You can:

  • Exercise independent judgment and decision-making, along with knowledge of when to get others involved.

Working Conditions:

  • Domestic Travel Up to 25%.

  • Office Work Environment 76 -100%.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
