We currently have an opening within our Digital Modernization Sector for a Cyber Analyst Intern. The intern will work within our Fed/Civ IT group performing the following duties:

Primary Responsibilities:

Research best security practices around the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Based on this research write recommended guidelines for end users and the use of AI.

Research AI based security threats such as email phishing campaigns.

Determine if there are key indicators that can be used to mitigate these attacks.

Research Microsoft CoPilot Security for Microsoft Defender and work with the Security Engineering Team on implementing a proof of concept in the CMS M365 Tenant.

Working with the Security Engineering Team on developing work flow automations to improve security response to incidents.

Basic Qualifications:

Must be pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

US citizenship required.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $44,850.00 - $81,075.00
