IP Information Security Intern

As an IP (Intellectual Property) Information Security Intern you’ll join the TPG (Technology and Products Group) IP Security team that protects intellectual property from within a department designing and developing our most advanced, next-generation processes and products. We will assign you a project that is intended to last the duration of your 3-month internship and will occupy most of your time. Projects will include:

  • Problem solving to identify solutions that lessen risk to information and balance security with end user productivity
  • Participation in cross functional teams assessing, measuring and improving controls
  • Creation and maturing of mechanisms that monitor, measure and report

In addition, you may assist in information management and enterprise data loss prevention processes as an advocate for team members and information security.

Qualifications:

  • Actively pursuing a degree in computer science, information science, software engineering, Cybersecurity or a related field
  • Have an interest in information security, cybersecurity and risk assessments
  • Excellent technical, communication, and analytical skills that adapt to the specific audience (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal)
  • Possess a continuous improvement mindset, looking for ways to improve
  • PC skills in Microsoft Office applications, report building skills
