The team

Client services market risk

The client services team is responsible for accompanying the Murex clients in the conception, deployment and support of solutions (pricing, risk, regulatory reporting…) allowing them to exercise their activities on the capital markets.

The mission

The mission is to deploy the FRTB Standardized approach solution for a large Spanish bank allowing them to compute their market risk capital charges. After the deployment, the different risk charges will have to be validated and compared to reference risk charges.

Market risk own funds requirements have evolved after the 2008 crisis to include in a more comprehensive way the different risk factors to which banks are sensitive, as well as cater for additional risks that were not included in the previous market risk regulatory requirements under Basel 2.5.

As part of the internship, the candidate will be participating in the business as usual of the client services team by assisting clients and supporting them on the usage of the MX.3 platform.
