Anaplan is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer (Infrastructure & DevOps). The Cloud Engineering team is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure. We work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, automation, and continuous improvement of our cloud environments.

 

Your Impact:

Monitoring and Incident Management:

  • Set up and maintain monitoring tools and dashboards for Azure-based SaaS applications to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence, focusing on SaaS environments.

Infrastructure Management:

  • Administer, implement, and manage scalable and reliable Azure infrastructure for SaaS products using services like Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Elastic Pools, and other Azure services.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform.

Performance Optimization:

  • Analyze system performance metrics for SaaS applications and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
  • Implement caching strategies and optimize database performance for multi-tenant environments.

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement security best practices and compliance measures for SaaS applications, ensuring data protection and adherence to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with security teams to conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments.

Scripting and Automation:

  • Create Azure DevOps pipelines to facilitate Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) for SaaS applications.
  • Develop scripts using PowerShell or Azure CLI to automate routine tasks and manage Azure resources efficiently in a SaaS environment.

Your Quaifications: 

  • Candidates should have at least three to five years of relevant experience in ensuring the reliability and performance of SaaS applications deployed in Microsoft Azure.This role requires a deep understanding of monitoring tools, incident management, and cloud infrastructure best practices.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, along with experience in performance optimization and troubleshooting, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collaborating with development teams to enhance service reliability and efficiency in Azure environments.
