As a Senior Paralegal working for Taylor Morrison you will be responsible for supporting and assisting in-house legal staff in the management of the company’s legal affairs. Drafts, retrieves, reviews and/or analyzes documents including pleadings, and reports. Performs legal and investigative research. Performs general transactional assistance. Performs assistance in all aspects of due diligence investigations and litigation management including discovery, scheduling, court filings, document/file review, analysis and management. Interacts with outside public and private agencies, corporations, law firms, property owners, etc. Manages in-house legal library, references, other resources and special projects.

- Assists in drafting general correspondence, contracts, pleadings and other legal documents
- Files, records and/or research as needed
- Assists in researching, retrieving documents for and preparing responses as needed
- Review, analyze and prepare chronologies, minutes, and due diligence reports
- Create, organize and manages electronic and hard copy files
- Schedules depositions
- Interacts with outside agencies, corporations, firms, etc. to gather information and data
- Orders legal publications, reference materials and handbooks
- Handles all associated billing
- Deliver and picks up documents
- Attends meetings and various other legal and/or business proceedings

About you:
- Associate Degree in paralegal studies; six or more years related experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted
- Knowledge of the principles, methods and practices of legal research; knowledge of the legal system, including court filing/recording systems, requirements and deadlines
- Knowledge of general paralegal transactional and litigation assistance, and real estate practice as it relates to real property and easement acquisitions, mortgages, and due diligence documents and investigations
- Knowledge of clerical techniques and practices
- Skill in operating a PC and associated Windows environment software (e.g. Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to be courteous and helpful under pressure

Job Description
As a Senior Superintendent working for Taylor Morrison you will provide leadership in your assigned community and are responsible for managing the homebuilding process for assigned homes to ensure timely completion while meeting financial, quality, safety and customer satisfaction goals. The Senior Superintendent responsibilities span a broad spectrum to include project planning/scheduling, resource allocation and subcontractor and subcontractor relations, cost management, safety and compliance, quality and customer satisfaction.
We trust that as a Senior Superintendent you will: (responsibilities)
- Responsible for leading the overall homebuilding process
- Foster a team environment
- Build and maintain positive subcontractor relations
- Continually evaluate quality, safety, scheduling and cost control measures and enforce the site safety
- Mentoring of team members and teaching construction manual content
- Manage the construction schedule and ensures that the highest quality product is delivered on time and within budget
- Develops and implements recovery strategies to maintain schedule, authorize payment for materials received and work completed
- Provide clear answers to buyers about how the home is built, ensure the overall condition of the home at move in is satisfactory to the home buyers
- Provide outstanding level of customer service at all times
- Home is completed by original date provided to homebuyer
- Ensures that the worksite is clean, orderly and visually appealing to customers during construction
- Manage the post-close process for warranty to include assessing warranty requests, determining course of action, scheduling trades, and managing quality assurance

About you:
- You have at a minimum: High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of Construction experience (preferably with a production builder) or have successfully completed the assigned TM360 Learning curriculum if applicable. Bachelor’s degree in Construction or related field preferred
- Must possess demonstrated knowledge of new home construction process, scheduling and cost control procedures
- Must be able to read, understand and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules, with knowledge of all phases of new homes construction
- You are proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications as well as have savvy computer skills
- You are a strong in communication skills both oral and written as well as strong in organization skills
- You are customer service oriented and believe customer is number one priority
- You understand the need to be flexible and prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines
- You are willing to perform other duties as assigned
