đź’ˇYour role in a nutshell 

As an Account Director, you will be the strategic lead and trusted advisor for a portfolio of key client accounts, driving growth and fostering long-term partnerships. You will lead a high-performing team of Account Managers and Account Executives, mentoring their development and ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service and innovative 360° marketing solutions. Your deep understanding of the advertising landscape, coupled with your strategic vision and proven leadership skills, will be instrumental in exceeding client expectations and achieving ambitious business goals.

  • Contract Type: B2B
  • Location: Office-based or hybrid, with occasional travel for client meetings and pitches. 
  • Reporting Line: Managing Partner.
  • Close Collaboration: Account Managers, Account Executives, Creative Department, Strategy Department, Finance Department, New Business Development Team.

🥇 Scope of Responsibilities:

Business:

  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
  • Business Growth: Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive revenue growth, identify new business opportunities within existing accounts, and ensure client retention.
  • Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of client projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality execution of 360° integrated campaigns.

Relationships:

  • Client & Partner Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and inter-agency partners, fostering open communication and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments, including creative, finance, and strategy, to ensure seamless project execution and a unified approach to client needs.
  • Cross-Functional Facilitation: Facilitate inter-departmental meetings to discuss project progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment across all teams.

Leadership & Team Management:

  • Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and motivate a team of Account Managers and Account Executives, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Resource Planning: Oversee resource allocation and capacity planning for the team, ensuring optimal utilization of skills and expertise across client projects.
  • Mentorship & Development: Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members, supporting their growth and career progression.

🔑Skills and experience required to be successful in this role include: 

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in account management or business development within a creative agency.
  • Proven ability to build and nurture strong client relationships based on trust and mutual understanding.
  • Extensive experience in managing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in managing and motivating high-performing teams.
  • In-depth understanding of the advertising industry, current trends, and best practices.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing client accounts, exceeding revenue targets, and driving business growth.
  • Proven growth mindset and a passion for continuous learning and development.
