About the Job
The Red Hat team is looking for a Regional Services Leader to join us in Mumbai, India. In this role, you will lead the Services team in India and be responsible for all Consulting, Training & Certification and Technical Account Management functions in the region. You’ll align your strategies with the regional sales leader, segment leaders and functional leaders, ensuring that sales and services motions are well integrated and support India’s customers. You’ll help enable Red Hat’s customers to receive maximum value from Red Hat’s offerings and services based on the needs of their business. You’ll closely monitor delivery by country teams and engage with critical customers directly and align with Asia Pacific (APAC) functions and ensure consistent key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics in a methodological, consistent approach. True customer success is only achieved when Red Hat joins forces with a rich ecosystem to meet customer expectations. In line with this, you will create synergies rather than competition with our partners. As a Regional Services Leader, you’ll be part of the APAC Services Leadership team and India regional leadership team, and be a critical participant in the transformation toward more strategic customer relationships. This position reports to the APAC Vice President & Head of Services, whereby you will deliver on the regional services booking, revenue and margin goals, while aligning to the sales opportunities and priorities managed by APAC.
What will you do?
Deliver on Red Hat’s transformative vision to deliver an exceptional customer experience for hybrid cloud and other Red Hat offerings, leading to increased adoption of Red Hat technologies across the India region
Engage across the full customer life cycle to help drive success for our customers and for Red Hat
Manage the financial performance of the business (full P&L), including tracking and reporting bookings, revenue, margin and sales forecasting
Work closely with the regional sales leaders and align efforts to ensure optimal outcomes for our customers and partners
Establish and carry out strategies to ensure Red Hat and customer success in India, leading to higher account growth, services revenue and renewals
Collaborate with all APAC Services leaders, as well as other in-region functional teams, for consistent strategy and fulfillment
Ensure long-term customer success is realized and delivered, by driving the Consulting, Training and TAM (P&L) against financial goals in collaboration with our Ecosystem business
Manage and optimize a consistent, proactive, and cross-functionally aligned services sales and delivery capability with deep Red Hat technical skills & certifications
What will you bring?
10+ years of experience in a leadership or management role leading high performance front line teams
Demonstrated leadership of a regional services organization in a multi-billion dollar corporation
Experience and tenacity to lead transformational change through a large, matrixed organization
Demonstrated record of managing a significant multi-million dollar P&L business, preferably in professional services or consulting
Demonstrated ability to lead a distributed, multicultural organization
Demonstrated ability to teamwork with external partners and ecosystem, developing win-win relationships that keep the best interest of the customer at heart and also help scale the business at market level Combined background of consulting, training and TAM services, partner and sales experience, ideally with a record in P&L management and sales forecasting
Empathy for customers, partners and passion for revenue and growth
Analytical, strategic and process-oriented mindset
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with excellent presentation skills
Customer service focus, including the ability to deliver multiple priority projects with high customer and partner satisfaction in a rapidly changing environment
Deep financial and operational understanding of value drivers in recurring revenue business models
Bachelor's degree in a technology or any analytical discipline; Graduate degree in management is a plus
