PRODUCT MANAGER

The ACE - eCommerce Order to Cash Team is looking for a Product Manager to help in the pursuit of creating a digital product that continuously improves our relationship with Alcon customers, consumers and sales associates.

As a Product Manager, you will collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and the development team to define and prioritize feature requirements, goals, and scope. You will manage and adapt the product and feature roadmap to ensure timely delivery while working closely with the Global Product Director and other Product Owners to shape the end-to-end product strategy and maximize business value. In this role, you will manage the high-level product roadmap and write user Stories, assuming end-to-end responsibility and accountability for smooth story readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

•            Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and the development team to define and prioritize project requirements, goals, and scope.

•            Manage and adapt the project roadmap, ensuring that the project is delivered on time.

•            Collaborates with the Global Product Director, Global Product Experience Manager, and other Product Owners to shape end-to-end product strategy and business value of their feature set

•            Lead requirements gathering sessions and act as business/technical SME

•            Utilize market and industry knowledge to coordinate translation of user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria in JIRA, 2-3 sprints ahead

•            Collaborates with Product Director and designers to integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to ensure customer-driven design

•            Collaborate with cross functional teams (Supply Chain, SAP, Customer Master/ Salesforce & Digital Health Suite/Smart Cataract)

•            Reviews and approves test cases and test runs prepared by Test Leads

•            Coordinates early estimation of Epics and Stories

•            Serves as the day-to-day contact for the engineering team on clarification of requirements

•            Supports the Global Product Director in collaborating with other teams and leadership to ensure team strategy aligns with the overall product vision

•            Approves JIRA ticket demos from engineering

•            Preps and gives demos to business along with Global Product Director

•            Works closely with the Global Product Director on priorities and day to day decision-making.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

•            Previous Product Owner experience

•            A software development background

•            Be comfortable working with cross functional teams (different time zones/international team)

•            A deep understanding and experience with Agile Methodologies

•            Analytical and problem-solving skills

•            Stakeholder management experience

•            Great communication skills, fluent English

•            Experience within Jira and any SCRUM or equivalent certificate for Product Owner or other
